Woo freaking Hoo! I was petrified, I must say. I really didn't know how it was going to go, but it went very very well. There were some mishaps and some prop things that called for some adlibbing, but those moments were some of the best. Soooooooo nice to have an audience there to LAUGH. Mmmmm mmmmm good. That schmidt is better than crack. Tonight Gwenners, Cricket, and I think Madame Renea Knight are coming. I am thrilled to have a cheering section. I need some "woos!" in my life.
My Grandma Schmidt, Helen York (I love the strength in her name) passed away this weekend. She was one of the smartest people I'll ever know.

Your grandma had a GREAT name. Let's all raise a glass to intelligent grandmas!
I'm such an ass. I thought Monday night WAS opening night. I would have asked how yesterday went. Silly Gwen.
Having said that, OH MY GOD. You were fucking AMAZING, Dood. Chris and I just sat there, cracking UP. Your timing, your grasp, your intuition, your eyes, your vocal ability....it was stunning. I am in complete awe; not that I was surprised! You inspire me to be a better actor and comedianne. So few are both. And you are both, good friend, you are BOTH. *wild clapping*
Thank you Gwenners. I meant to tell you and my love (C.) that the shoes are mine. I bought them when I found out my signature color
I will be wearing them to Easter Brunch (we better hurry up and plan) and other amazing people's birthday parties, I promise.
"You've got what I need baby, and from now on baby, you've got me."
You pull off pale pink like no other. Pepto Bismol, indeed!
Where do you wanna go for Eyster Brunch? Should we research and go someplace totally new? Or do you have a place in mind....?
I'm still thinking about how you filled each moment you were on stage. I'm so glad we were right up front.
I'd love to know what's on your mind now that it's all over.
