Our Superbowl: The Tony's

I must say I enjoyed last night's Tony's more than I have in years. It was a great show, with many surprise, great performances, and wonderfully gay acceptance speeches. Out of the 25 awards, I guessed 15 correctly. I've listed them below.

I'm bad. I didn't even watch it. It was so upsetting that I had no idea what they were talking about and I fell asleep for the beginning thanks to all those shots. mmmm shots

I love that Yelnats kept referring to the Tony Awards as our 'Superbowl'. He GETS it, which is why I heart him.

My faves were also Mary Louise Wilson's head-thrown-back hoot and 'I don't' moment, as well as Julie White's obvious shock of winning her award. Love that!

David Hyde Pierce was wonderfully modest and sweet, too. His was a lovely, overwhelmed, and touching moment.

I'm glad I was sitting next to you to watch these Tonys...soon we'll be sitting in Radio City waiting for our moment to perform and give a tearful speech....hopefully we'll be starring the same show!

i obviously didn't get them over here...sadness...but am glad you did so well, you theatre genius!!! i sat reading your list and was like, ooooooh to have seen ANY of these......
